I Did The O' Dome
Ok. So other than the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the O' Connell Center (Basketball Arena) is the largest venue to perform in at the University of Florida. I was blessed to perform here recently with Damian Marley!
We have commenced the creation of my documentary that will show my rise from where I was before the BET performance to wherever I end up. I can only get there with the help of those who genuinely believe in my music...so on with the show.
5000 people, 8 dancers, 1 Dash, 1 Mic. It was an epic event for me that has yet to completely soak in. I was giving a lecture on Networking at the University of South Florida in Tampa on Friday morning, but on Friday night I was a star! Doesn't help that I had to drive back to Tampa and be Jameyel again immediately afterward. Oh well...such is life. I'm still trying to stay on top of my schoolwork, finances, company, artists, projects, family, friends, pets, and eating (I forget at least 2 at a time).
The people really seemed to enjoy my antics on stage though. I hope someone invites me to do something else soon. I feel at home on stage. One of the few places that I can actually call home. I also live on the road. LOL!Meka on the sax, WHADDUP! I had the whole crowd chanting his name! He definitely did his thing and made the show once again. I don't know what I'd do without that dude. He's the secret ingredient.
I hope everyone will stay tuned for the release of my 2nd solo project (it will be a lot better than the first. Lets keep it movin in the year of perfection!!

I thought I posted a comment prior to the "testing" comment. I didn't know what I was doing. So, now that I forgot what I said, and I said it so eloquently then, it was early, and my head was clear, now I have eaten carbs,your dad is awake and up (believe it or not). I have bleached the bath room and done other chores, I will comment again and now maybe not as eloquent as the first. I am so proud of you, Buddy. Stay focused through this dream of yours. Always maintain that JOB to fund your endeavors. Keep the JOB and insurance and follow HIS direction. Remember, "In all thy ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your path". Always make time to go to Church to worship and fellowship. Continue to surround yourself with good clean people. Respect women and other people in your lyrics. You don't need to use profanity in your lyrics. Profanity it for those with a small vocabulary. Sex has always existed and will always exist. There is no reason to ellude to it either, unless you have some hangups. :} Love you dear, I am your greatest fan, always have been. Your MAUNGH!
